i made this for shelzie ’s super smash bros art collab
she let everyone submit a second piece of art for the collab so i chose red sonic along with regular lucario
admittedly i recycled this from another sonic pic i did but i love this pose allot and scenes it really needed a clean up so i took some liberties to improve a few things
if you want to join check out the rules here they’re still allot of spots open for every character in smash bros history including alt costumes, the deadline is AUG 1st so join as you can

Originality Technique ImpactAh, where could I start on this? I guess I could start on the Technique.~
For the Technique, I personally really like it. The shading on this is beautiful, I like how you have the shade being a red tint of his attack is shading on to him. I also like the fact it's almost like a crayon texture. Nice touch on adding it to the attack too. It's kind of like a story/coloring book style. I also like your style. It's pretty cute! It gives this cartoonist effect to the picture. The pose of this is beautiful too. The movement of the attacking leg infers the speed and strength of the attack Sonic is doing. Also, his facial features! It shows of how confident and determined Sonic is in this battle!
Only thing I really recommend on your next piece is that you don't let the lines go too far down. What I'm pointing at is the lines on the attack. They seemed a little rushed.. Other than that this is a pretty cute drawing. Keep up the good work! c:
